Wait, I thought "whore" was connotative of people who gave it away. If I could make a comfortable living without a great amount of risk leveraging sexuality that seems like a great gig. If it pays the bills and isn't illegal, what is not legitimate about it?
rm_Chloe_07087 replies on 4/23/2016 5:16 am: NoMaintenance a whore is a synonym for a prostiitute, which is someone who is paid for sex. It is an interesting question because of the very different laws around the world where in some places it's legal, other places illegal, and the remainder somewhere in the middle. In the US for example its legally acceptable and somewhat socially acceptable to be a pimp in some Nevada counties, but for a woman everywhere else in the US who is a sex worker it can be a felony or a misdemeanor. In the few places in Nevada where prostitution is legal it's ok if the woman has a pimp, but not if she is an independent prostiitute. I mentioned in another reply that it's a common female erotic fantasy, but in most places you do get assigned what amounts to a scarlet letter because it can be used against you in many other legal confrontations, besides the general disdain of most women for sex workers. I was interested in knowing what the members on AdultFriendFinder might have to say on it whether their comments are what I would consider a good, bad, or an indifferent comment I still want them to remain posted.

who cares each to his own
rm_Chloe_07087 replies on 4/23/2016 4:51 am: Actually Jim from the response so far a lot of people care. People on AdultFriendFinder might say who cares, but so far I haven't heard a comment on the situation as if it was a family member or friend. I used the AdultFriendFinder platform to see the responses from the people on AdultFriendFinder and so far I haven't heard a thoughtful reply. Only a sure why not response from people like you versus the treatment sex workers get from society, which I can see you probably haven't seen on a personal level or you would have something more to say than who cares. Best wishes.

I think if you are getting paid for it then its a job. So No I dont think badly of a "whore". I do in fact think badly of a "SLUT" *nods* ~Juliet

I don't like the term whore, too many negative connotations. But other than that sexworkers are people too and a lot of them are good people.
Please don't let me be misunderstood.
rm_Chloe_07087 replies on 4/24/2016 8:02 pm: Yes Rebel, whore does carry a negative connotation. However, many women who are escorts will say that they are whores and prefer to use it to describe their career. It's also a more powerful word than sex worker, which many might rightly say makes it a loaded one. I chose it because I believe it is more accurate than referring to a whore as a sex trafficking victim or on the other extreme example presenting a whore as an elite globe trotting prostiitute with a glamorous international clientele. For many whores it's a much more prosaic job, which strips away the two extremes, while using a word with an inflammatory connotation to jar people into thinking about it, not just saying its a job because it isn't just a job as I mention in the blog about it.

I've put it depends. It would all depend on the person. If they were a strong enough character and sensible then I wouldn't have a problem with them doing it. If they were naïve or not street wise then I would be concerned. At the end of the day it is a job to earn money. I'd rather trust a sex worker than any politician!

in addition to mainstream corporate america, Ive worked off and on in the adult industry for many years as well, so my opinions may be biased,
people exchange companionship for compensation all the time, from pet sitting to being arm candy at a fancy dinner, and many things in between of various intimacy, as long as the person has made an informed choice, and is able to be happy with their decision, I see nothing wrong with it. there are risks involved with every career choice, there are also rewards, when the risk and reward has been objectively evaluated the informed choice can be made
